Complaints
in Hotel
One morning, Hajar has a duty
outside the city and she has to go to Bali, then she buys a ticket for that day
immediately. She gets her flight at 4.30 PM. Unfortunately, she gets the news
that the filght is canceled because the bad weather. It will be so difficult
for her to wait in the airport for such a long time so that she decides to
reserve a room and stay in the hotel near the airport. Then, she picks her
baggage up from the conveyor.
She
comes over to the receptionist and reserves a room...
Hajar : Excuse me. Good
afternoon.
Receptionist : Good afternoon. What can I do
for you miss?
Hajar : I want to book a
room for one night. Do you have any empty room?
Receptionist : Okay. Wait a minute, I’ll
check the room available.
The
receptionist checks on the computer.
Receptionist : The room 345 is available. It
faces the north where you can see the
view
of the Soewarna lake.
Hajar : How much should I
Pay?
Receptionist : For the standard room is Rp.448.000+++
and for the deluxe room per
night
is Rp. 775.000+++ per night.
Hajar : Should I fill the
form first?
Reeceptionist : Yes, please. Here it is...
Hajar
fills the form and all the requirements.
Receptionist : How will you pay for the room?
By credit card or cash?
Hajar : I will pay for it by
credit card.
Receptionist : Please, sign in the paper
first miss.
Hajar : Ok.
Receptionist : This is your key. I will escort
you to the room and let me brings your
luggage to your room.
Hajar : Thank you.
Hajar follows the receptionist.
Receptionist : Here is your room, miss...
Hajar : Whoa! The room is
quite big and it seems comfortable too.
Receptionist : Well, we hope you enjoy.
Hajar
walks down the hallway with room boy.
Hajar : I can’t imagine how big the hotel is.... with modern touch and
so many artworks hanging
on there.
Suddenly...
Hajar : Oh my God! What a terrible room it is! This
is not what I
expect before.
Hajar
calls the receptionist. She is very dissapointed with her room service.
Receptionist : Good afternoon. May I help
you?
Hajar : I am in room 345. I
am so annoyed with my room, it surprises me.
Receptionist : I am really sorry to hear
that. What’s going on Miss?
Hajar
: Are you deaf?
I don’t want to bring up this problem but this bothers
me.
Air Conditioner doesn’t work well, there is no bathroom towel, pillowcases are
not replace, the rooms are much incomplete, and the shower is leaked. I call
the room boy and he says I have to wait but until now, nobody comes to fix all.
This is not what I expect !!!
Receptionist : Would you wait for a moment,
please? I’m afraid there may be a
misunderstanding
miss.
Hajar : Ok. But don’t be too
long. I want to take a rest.
Receptionist : Oh God, I’m too careless. I hope my Supervisor doesn’t know
about this.
The
Receptionist comes and checks the room again and apaprently there is a
misunderstanding between the room boy and the receptionist.
Receptionist : I do really apologize for the
inconvenience, miss.
Hajar : I hope for the next
service, you and your staff will be more carefully.
Receptionist : Ok, thankyou for your
suggestions Miss. We will change your room
with
the complete one, and the room number 350.
After
a long quarrel, she goes to her room. Starts tidy up her stuff, and take a bath
and hit the bed. She feels statisfy with the room that is changed.
